Dental Hygiene & Surgical Assistant Staff

Dental Hygienists

Our dental hygienists are specifically skilled in delivering deep cleaning treatments that target gum disease and its prevention.  Our office requires that each hygienist stay abreast of the latest techniques and developments in dental hygiene by participating in continuing education.  Dr. Siegelman and your hygienist will work with your general dentist to develop a customized maintenance program that will ensure your ongoing health.  Our goal is to help you keep your teeth for a lifetime.

Periodontal disease is an infection that is kept under control through regular examinations, re-evaluation, and cleanings above and below the gum line.  It is important to follow your maintenance program to assure that disease will not reoccur.  Oral health affects your overall general health; periodontal disease has been linked to cause diabetes, heart disease, stroke, premature birth and low birth weight newborns.
